5th Negosyo sa Bayan Entrepreneurship Development Training Empowers Local Government Units Nationwide The Negosyo sa Bayan Entrepreneurship Development Training, in collaboration with the Development Center for Future Leaders, Inc. (DCFL), the Department of Trade and Industry- Global MSME Academy, and Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship -Go Negosyo, successfully concluded its fifth edition on August 28 -30 at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel, Iloilo City.
The two-day event witnessed the convergence of over 100 participants, including representatives from various Local Government Units (LGUs) across the nation. With the theme of “Empowering LGUs for Sustainable Entrepreneurship,” the training aimed to equip LGUs with the necessary skills and knowledge to foster entrepreneurial growth within their communities.
Esteemed speakers and industry experts shared their insights and experiences, shedding light on the path to economic prosperity. Women’s Business Council Philippines Chairperson, Mylene Abiva, delivered an inspiring talk about Women Economic Empowerment and her business journey as a Woman in Tech emphasizing the pivotal role of women in driving business innovation and growth.
President Rosemarie Rafael, another distinguished speaker, delved into the strategies for cultivating a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem and Financial Management at the local level. Her expertise and practical examples resonated with the audience, offering actionable takeaways for implementation.
The event’s host moderator, Jopine Romero, a Women’s Business Council Member, skillfully facilitated discussions and engaged participants, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Her expertise in the realm of business and entrepreneurship added significant value to the training sessions.
The Negosyo sa Bayan Entrepreneurship Development Training series continues to be a collaborative effort that empowers LGUs to contribute to the economic development of the nation.
