Yaring Pinay Gender Communication Toolkit Launch & Workshops for TVET Employers

Edukasyon.ph, in partnership with Investing in Women, an initiative of the Australian government, is pleased to invite you to the launch of the Yaring Pinay Gender Communication Toolkit for Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions on Thursday March 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM. The program will be delivered via Zoom. Participants of the event include representatives from the TVET academe and the industry in the Philippines, as well as the accrediting body, TESDA.

The Gender Communication Toolkits are designed for TVET educational institutions and employers to equip them with gender perspectives to integrate in curriculum development, marketing, placement, recruitment and talent attraction efforts, and align gender principles with organizational culture and practices. The toolkits are a practical guide in understanding how gender norms impact recruitment and occupational segregation in TVET schools and companies manifested through corporate communication strategies, materials and language.

The Launch will kick-off the Yaring Pinay workshop series dedicated to TVET schools and employers, and the student-focused activities #Tech-Voc Ready Quest.

We recommend staff from your Human Resources, Careers, Marketing or Communications department to attend a workshop. An attendance to the workshop is a requirement prior to receiving the toolkit to help maximize your learning.
