DTI Philippine E-Commerce 2028 Roadmap Presentation with WomenbizPH and PCW

The Philippine E-Commerce 2028 Roadmap was discussed by USEC Jean Pacheco and DTI Bureau of E-Commerce. . This initiative aims to expand the international presence of Philippine products and services. Representatives from Women’s Business Council Philippines (WomenbizPH) and other women organizations including Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) Commissioner Myrna Yao and Commissioner Rosemarie Rafael were in attendance.

WomenbizPH President Rhoda Caliwara , Corps Secretary Mylene Abiva , Treasurer Ida Tiongson , Members Nora Terrado , Dulce Punzalan were also invited to participate.

The DTI Philippines 🇵🇭 e-commerce ecosystem include digital platforms, e-marketplaces, digital payments, and telecommunication companies.

This roadmap represents DTI goal is to strengthen the trust between buyers and sellers particularly to develop wider economic opportunities for women . By achieving this, DTI through inputs from WomenbizPH can address issues of a more complex economic landscape.

The DTI Philippine E-Commerce 2028 roadmap introduce inclusivity and innovation as its key elements. It prioritizes the growth of key industries such as tourism, creative, food and agribusiness, transportation, and logistics.

The recently enacted Republic Act No. 11967, or the Internet Transactions Act and it’s implementation will play a pivotal role in shaping the regulatory landscape of e-commerce in the Philippines.

WomenbizPH will take an active role in its success in the Philippines!
