Today, I moderated the Resiliency Track during the Consultative Workshop on the 2015 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Women and the Economy Summit (APEC WES)
The meeting was spearheaded by Usec. Nora Terrado of the DTI Management Services Group, together with Boots Garcia who chairs the Women’s Business Council Philippines and Emmeline Verzosa, Executive Director of Philippine Commission on Women. Chit Juan, president of WBC Philippines and of Echostore Sustainable Lifestyle, emceed the event and moderated the Competitiveness Track, while Chique Escareal-Go, VP of WBC Philippines and president of Mansmith & Fielders Inc. moderated the Empowerment Track.
Being in the room with strong and accomplished women leaders and discussing issues that concern women in business was rewarding and enjoyable. We looked at gains, challenges, recommendations and best practices in risk reduction and mitigation, environmental protection and personal development and branding. All in all, it was a productive afternoon, preparing for APEC WES 2015.
