The next generation of women are already creating the change needed for true empowerment to exist today. Despite the continuing challenges that face women in the socio-cultural and economic landscape, there are such women who have broken new grounds and smashed glass ceilings, defied cultural barriers, and have conquered summits never before reached, enabled by the world of digital, a world where gender equality and diversity truly exists.
The conference will feature young women in the digital and technological sphere, as they talk about creating, capturing and delivering value using ICT and digital tools, now imperative in ways of doing business. Highlights of some commissioned research on access to finance, inclusive business, and women in STEM and on boards will also be presented.

The Women's Business and Leadership Summit 2019 has been endorsed by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
The summit is extending a special rate of Php 5,000 for Government and Academe participants.
For government participants, the registration fee is chargeable to the agency GAD budget, subject to availability of agency funds and accounting and auditing rules and regulation.
Kristine is the managing partner of McKinsey & Company Philippines office, and the first Filipina to be elected partner in the firm.
Kristine advises clients on a range of issues, from market entry and growth, digital strategies, to performance transformation. She draws on her extensive experience in the design and implementation of large-scale transformation programs to help build successful, sustainable organizations across key sectors, including financial services, healthcare, education, infrastructure, transportation, consumer goods, and the public sector.
Across Southeast Asia, Kristine counsels government entities on how to accelerate economic development and strengthen public finances. When super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) hit the Philippines in November 2013, Kristine led McKinsey’s work to support government agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and private firms in their disaster-relief and -recovery activities. She continues to work with a private-sector-led consortium to institutionalize a coordinated response from the business community in times of disaster.
