WomenbizPH x NDC MOU Signing for Gender and Development Fund

The Women’s Business Council Philippines (WBCP) and the National Development Company (NDC) have officially signed a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on initiatives promoting gender equality and fostering women’s economic development in the Philippines.

As a mandated agency to pursue national economic development in the Philippines, the NDC recognizes the indispensable role of women in nation-building. The partnership with the WomenbizPH aims to leverage the Gender and Development Fund (GAD) of NDC for the Women at Work Conference entitled “The Future of the Handmade in a Digital World” and other impactful activities led by the Women’s Business Council Philippines.

Mr. Antonilo Mauricio, General Manager of the National Development Company (NDC), expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Today, we solidify our commitment to advancing women’s empowerment and gender equality in the workplace. By joining forces with the Women’s Business Council Philippines, we can extend our reach and create meaningful opportunities for women entrepreneurs and professionals to thrive.”
